Privacy notice

Last updated 13 October 2026. This notice explains what personal data Speir Studio collects, why, and what rights you have over it.

Who I am

Speir Studio is run by me, Kevin Green, based in East Lothian, Scotland. For the purposes of data protection law, I'm the "data controller" of the information described in this notice. You can contact me at info@speirstudio.co.uk.

What I collect

When you get in touch through my contact form, I collect the information you choose to give me: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), business name, which services you're interested in, and your message.

This site doesn't currently use any analytics or tracking tools, and doesn't use cookies.

Why I collect it

I use this information only to reply to your enquiry, understand what you need, and follow up about the work we might do together. I rely on your consent, given by submitting the form, as my lawful basis for processing it.

How I store and share it

Enquiries submitted through this site are processed by Formspree, my form handling provider, who may process your data outside the UK as part of providing that service, and act as a data processor on my behalf. I don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone else, and I don't use it for marketing unless you ask me to.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry details for as long as I reasonably need them to respond to you and, if we start working together, for the length of that relationship and a reasonable period afterwards for my records. If nothing comes of an enquiry, I delete it after a reasonable period.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, object to how I use it, or ask me to restrict my use of it. To do any of this, email info@speirstudio.co.uk.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to theInformation Commissioner's Office, though I'd always welcome the chance to put things right directly first.

Changes to this notice

I may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
